Dustin in Action

There are quite a few contributing factors in making this day simply wonderful. I woke up to Dustin after 12 days apart! Candy bars + Movie night was the evening agenda. Reconnecting with out of town friends for lunch. Pay Day. Getting a post card from a friend in Cambridge. Crossing 'travel by tour bus' off my bucket list. Which unfortunately I think I am now officially ruined to the normal means of travel. Well, shoot. And finally, getting to share photos from the Into the Light Tour. The tour came through my hometown and confirmed to me traveling up to PA a week early to visit with my fam as an excellent decision. On Sunday I was very eager, after a week and a half apart, to head over to the venue to pick up Dustin as well as a few other friends from the tour and bring them back to my family's home for a good ole' Lancaster County meal. It was delicious and so fun to get to close the gap between PA family and Nashville friends. Plus, did I mention I got to see my Dustin!!

The show was awesome, as I expected it to be and it was so fun to have my whole family there to see Dustin do his thing! It was the first ever concert for my niece, Olivia, and even at age two, she stayed awake and clapped through to the very end. Not all of the nephews made it however, poor little guys. They were wearing their "I can do all things through Christ" Matthew West tee's sound asleep on the pew. My mom said, "They can do all things...except stay awake!" Good thing my brother David was there to help Ilya carry them out to the car!

I can't say it enough. I am so proud of my husband and getting to see him up there on stage has been years and years of prayer coming to fruition.
