An Outfit and a few Thoughts

Hat: The Guestroom Closet, Jewelry: Gifts, Ring: Pangea,
Cardigan/Cami: H&M, Shoes: Steve Madden, Jeans: Hollister

With Dustin on the road, I had a go at taking my own daily style photos. (He usually takes them for me.) I have seen over and over again this blogger and this blogger do a great job photographing their own outfit shots, so I figured that I would give it a try too. But there was one thing I was left to wonder; do they ever keep from us crazy, funny photos? I mean it was just me and the camera and a tree blocking anyone from seeing me. So I had a little bit of fun. I will admit, I did not include any of my funny faces!  Oh and how do they hide the remote so well? Mine is pretty obvious like I am getting ready to turn the channel on a make-believe tv. There is so much to learn in self-photographing. Oh and one more thought...I really need a new pair of go-to shoes. I wear these almost every day and they are beginning to show. You can't see it in the photos but there are stains all over them from months ago when a drink fell off my table onto them at a restaurant. But...I love them too much, I just might pro-long their life til Christmas! ♥, mK

  4. That hat looks great on you. Love that purple cardi too, I might have to go get one myself. I have the same problem with self portraits, my husband is working late these days, so I have to try and get them on my own...my point and shoot broke so I'm left with my big camera and no tripod...you get the picture. I get a lot of pictures that are out of focus and/or my head chopped off.

    1. Thanks Sarah! I hear ya on the no tripod issues...I do have one, but sometimes I forget about it and think I can just set up the camera on a table or something, but when it goes to focus, the lense always gets stuck on whatever I am using to prop it at just the right angle! haha Oi! Funny problems we bloggers have! haha
