Re-Style Rescue

I tend to hold onto clothes way longer then I should. There is a particular black and white blouse that dates back to 2005 that my sister, Erin, still pokes at me for wearing! I just never know when I might want to wear it again, so parting with it makes it all the more difficult. This brown button down top was a favorite turned washing machine fail, but my love for it saw potential. It sat patiently awaiting my return for months and months until just recently when I plucked it from the dark corner of my closet to breath into it new life. I'd share this as a DIY however I sew like I bake...guesstimating most measurements.

For a fun afternoon look, I matched it with my favorite shorts and belt-turned-necklace. You might have notice that I have been wearing the same shoes in almost all my outfit posts. If you were hoping I'd be one of those bloggers who has tons of cute shoes that complete every outfit, I regret to inform you that I just am not so. I wear women's size 11, so when I find a good pair of shoes, I take full advantage of 'em! Some day, if a shoe company that works with large feet wants to sponsor me and love me with beautiful shoes, I'd be one of the happiest big footed women in the world!  ♥, mK
