Send Something Good
This past month, I took part in a really fun blogger gift exchange project called Send Something Good. It was hosted by three bloggers, Gentri Lee, Kaitlyn and Kristy where basically any blogger could sign up and these three ladies assigned us to another blogger, one to send something good to and one to receive something good from!
I was given the opportunity to send something to Eryka over at the blog ABCDE. I had fun exploring her blog and coming up with items to place in her package. I made her this banner to represent her blog at home! It was fun taking the time to put it together and I heard from her that she already hung it in her home, which makes me soo happy to hear! Next, I sent her a pair of Suubi earrings because on her blog she spoke about loving to connect with characters in books and movies. I chose to send her these earrings because every piece of Suubi jewelry you buy, it comes with a story of the artisan that made it! I thought she might like to connect with her story while wearing some cute new earrings! Then of course, I topped off the package with one of my favorite cards! I love Marie Engelbreit + the saying on the card is soo fantastic and true! It was fun getting to know a bit about Eryka through this project, and if you want to get to know her too...visit her blog HERE!
A few weeks ago, I received my Send Something Good package in the mail. It was soo much fun to find a notice in my mail box saying there was a package! I love getting mail, and packages are like the cherry on top! It was from Eron at the blog In the Hopeful Kitchen! She is from the West Coast and sent me some fun things that represent her area! I loved it. She included two photo cards taken by her! They were so beautiful and they made the perfect Mother's day cards! Next, a pair of super fun shell earrings made by a jewelry artist in Southern California! I love jewelry, especially big, dangly earrings! Perfect choice, Eron! Dark Chocolate made it's way into the package...need I say more?? Bound to be a winner in my book! Also in the package, flower seeds! This was such a neat gift to receive, because I have been eying buying flowers and vegetable plants at the store almost every time I go, but just don't feel like I should spend the money. So this little detail really blessed my heart! And finally, she included some whole grain waffle mix which my husband thoroughly enjoyed on a breakfast for dinner sort of night!
This was such a fun project to be a part of and I just want to say a huge thanks to the lovely hosts and my dear exchange blogger, Eron! Your gift was so awesome to receive! Thank you soo much! Today, I am linking up with the rest of the girls who participated, so feel free to browse below and see what everyone else sent and received! To learn more about Send Something Good, go here! Happy Monday & Memorial Day! ♥, mK
